According to the requirements of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association's "Notice on Printing and Issuing" (No.  11), the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd.in conjunction with relevant units formulated the association standard "Building Curtain Wall Engineering Consulting Standard." After nearly two years of preparation, it has completed the consultation. This meeting is the preparatory meeting before the review and the fifth working meeting of the preparation group.

The meeting was successfully held in Luoyang on March 11,2023, with FORCITIS as the participating unit and chief engineer Pei Zhihong participating in the meeting.

The delegates had a warm and full discussion on the collected expert opinions and the content of the provisions, and formed the expert opinion reply document and the "Building Curtain Wall Engineering Consulting Standard" for review, and the next standard review will be deployed. 

The 'Building Curtain Wall Engineering Consulting Standard' is divided into 9 chapters and 1 appendix. The content involves the whole life cycle of building curtain wall engineering from pre-planning to scheme design to post-operation and maintenance. Combined with the requirements of intelligent, green and information technology for curtain wall engineering under the new situation, it standardizes the service standards and contents of China's curtain wall consulting industry, improves the technical level and quality of curtain wall engineering consulting industry, and helps the curtain wall consulting industry to develop scientifically, healthily and sustainably.

The compilation team will complete the "Building Curtain Wall Engineering Consulting Standards" for review as soon as possible, so that this standard can play an active role in the curtain wall industry as soon as possible.
